Gram's Famous Burritos
leftover pinto beans
1 8oz. jar Picante sauce
garlic powder, to taste
black pepper, to taste
Burrito tortillas
She makes about 4 cups dried pinto beans and has a meal with them and then refrigerates the leftovers. Then she cooks her hamburger meat and drains it. Then she adds her leftover beans to the skillet of meat to warm. Then add the picante sauce, garlic powder, and pepper to taste. She wraps all her burritos in saran wrap and puts them in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks, but I promise you they will not last that long!!! Or if you do have extras, you can freeze them!!!

Hmm...the recipe for Gram's burritos looks easiest but we love Taco Bell burritos (why did you have to say that). So I am thinking we will try both! Your picture looks great! It makes me hungry!
Both recipes sound terrific! We are huge burrito fans at our house!
Thanks for the side by side recipes! :) We might have to make an assortment platter!
I can't wait to try your MIL's recipe!
I'm not ordinarily a big Mexican food fan, but my husband is and I bet he'd be thrilled if I made either one of these recipes!
Ole Sweetie-Pi has been asking for burritos, but he's not particularly a spice nut. Will give your MIL's recipe a try. Sounds perfect for us.
Both recipes sound delicious to me. Thank you for sharing them with us. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks ladies for your sweet comments! Both recipes are winners - you can't go wrong with either one of them!!! Y'all have a great day!!!
Hello, Houston -- this is Katy writing!
Well, hello to you my fellow Texan!!! Thanks for stopping by! Come back anytime!!!
Mmm, they both sound good! We may have to have a little burrito throwdown!
Both look really yum
You are both right - they both are really good! You can't go wrong with either one!!!
ooh, these look so good. I eat burritos, but never make them. I'm more of a taco girl, but I'd so eat these.
