Sometimes I can be a food snob!!!!

It's my opinion that there's only one way to chocolate dip anything -- you HAVE to use Almond Bark!!! If you don't, it's just not the same!!! I can tell instantly if someone used Almond Bark or not. And sadly, if they didn't - sometimes I won't finish whatever they made. I know, I'm awful!!! So, check your local grocer or Walmart!!! Give it a try! You'll never go back to your semi-sweet chocolate chips!!!

This is one of my kids favorites!!! If there's strawberries in the house - this is what they're begging for...
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Surely, you weren't expecting a recipe - were you? If you really need one - look on the back of your Almond Bark package!!! ;)

I've seen the Almond Bark but since I'm not a stronger baker or candy make, I didn't know...

Does it have an almond flavor to it? I just love almond and chocolate together!

I like to use the white bark to dip the strawberries and then use the chocolate to put ghost faces on them for halloween. My daughters class loved them at the halloween party at school. They taste so good too!

Chelsea, I could never!!! Maybe one of these days I could talk him into posting it. It's so good that we never go out for steaks! And if we're w/ family that we "have" to - I make him make up some sauce and I hide it in my purse and take it in with us!!! LOL!!! I'm ridiculous, I know!!! Once again, the "food snob" in my is showing through!!! ;)

Katherine, it does not contain almonds or any nuts at all. It is call almond bark, because that is the "chocolate you use to make almond bark, which is kind of like peanut brittle, but with almonds and chocolate. (It is made from: sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (palm kernel, vegetable palm), whey (milk), soy lecithin, artificial color, artificial flavor.) Probably more than you wanted to know, huh?!!! Lol... It has a flavor that is so different from any chocolate you've ever had!!! You have to give it a try!!! yumm....

Heidi, What a cute idea!!! I've done that with Nutter Butter cookies before, but never strawberries. I'll have to remember that next year!

I have to admit, I've never used almond bark. But, I AM picky about chocolate coating! None of that waxy nasty chocolate for me.

Nice call on the strawberries -- so seasonal!

Lo, Thanks for dropping in!!! If you're picky about your chocolate - you'll have to give it a try and let me know what ya think.
